DJ, producer and composer. A French Touch pioneer, co-writer of "Intro" with Alan Braxe, resident at some of the most sought-after clubs in Los Angeles. Now back on stage, bass in hand.

Biography
Born in Toulouse, Fred Falke broke through in 2000 with "Intro", co-written with Alan Braxe. The track became part of the French Touch movement, then led by artists such as Daft Punk, Cassius, Étienne de Crécy and Air.
In London, he joined Xenomania, the British hit factory behind some of the biggest pop records of their time: Cher's "Believe", Kylie Minogue, the Pet Shop Boys. His productions for Mini Viva and Amelia Lily reached the UK top 10.
His career then took him to the United States, where he became one of the most in-demand DJs in Los Angeles. He held residencies at the city's most coveted clubs, including, in West Hollywood, Soho House and the Sunset at the Edition Hotel, dubbed the new Studio 54 of LA. He has played the Oscars after-parties several times, becoming a discreet but essential name in the Hollywood film world.
Based in Los Angeles, Fred Falke co-founded Ampersounds with Zen Freeman, a musical project born from their collaboration on the Californian electronic scene. Their collaboration with Rufus Wainwright was praised by Billboard on its release.
Alongside his DJ career, he has built a substantial body of work as a producer and composer: albums, film soundtracks and video game music. His official remixes, commissioned by labels and international artists, are too many to count. His remix of "Golden Cage" by The Whitest Boy Alive became one of the defining tracks of the blog house and nu disco movement.
On stage, he has played major international festivals: Ultra Korea in Seoul, SXSW in Austin, CRSSD in San Diego, Pacific in Los Angeles, Lovebox in London and Melt! in Germany.
The new project
White $hoes is where Fred Falke and Alex Layan meet around a shared vision of electronic music. Between the French Touch legacy, club energy and live instrumentation, the duo reinvents the DJ set by blending decks, bass and guitar on stage.
A hybrid live set where synths, bass and guitar interact with the machines in real time.
Twenty-five years on, the track played live on stage by its co-writer, bass in hand.
New original tracks in the making, plus the Fred Falke remixes crowds recognise from the very first notes.
His partner
After several years producing for television, radio and various artistic projects, Alex Layan began developing his own productions in 2020. His sound sits between electronic culture, disco and the French Touch legacy. A regular on the festival circuit, he has shared the bill with Purple Disco Machine, among others, and is also a member of the band Apollone.
Among other releases, he put out the single "I Can Do It" on Happy Music, followed by two singles on the Frappé label, including "In Your Mind" alongside Basile de Suresnes and Irfane, the signature voice of Breakbot. In 2025, he also took part in the remix of "Intro".
Today, he is developing White $hoes with Fred Falke, a project where melodic elegance, club culture and live instruments meet.
